Today has been an exceptionally eventful day, following up on yesterday’s historic launch of GMOA at the Global Maritime India Summit 2023 roadshow organized by MPA at Miramar. During the question and answer session, CE Bhaskar introduced GMOA on a national scale, addressing the issue of establishing a Professional BTec Marine Engineering College and Maritime College in Goa. This matter was discussed with a panel comprising Union Minister Shripad Naik, Port Development Central Incharge Mr. Aswat, and COP. Additionally, he appealed for the promotion of startup workshops and training for the maritime community in Goa.
We engaged in enlightening discussions with COP Mr. Vikas Gaunekar (IAS) concerning plans for maritime institutes, and with the Chairman of MPA, we expressed the need for an Officers Club. Our team is dedicated to pursuing these proposals through personal meetings. We earnestly request your full support by joining our ranks to demonstrate our unity.
