We are grateful to Honorable CM Dr Shri Pramod Sawant sir for assuring us full support for expediting release of a Goan 3rd engineer and other Indian crew of MT ADVANTAGE SWEET which is under custody of Iranian Government due to some dispute for which seafarer are not responsible.
Also representation to Honorable Shipping Minister Shri Sripadbhau and Nri Commisioner Shri Narendra Savoikar sir is made and all have assured support to the cause.
Also MUI was Contacted and it is said from their sources that matter is under highest priority. We hope government of India and goa goverment will secure fast release of Indian officers and crew held captive. Will update more once more info is available.
