We are registered by Goa government with Registered No. 100/Goa/2023.

The vision of the Goa Maritime Officers Association is to foster a community of strong, capable, and dedicated leaders who uphold the highest standards of excellence, integrity, and service in the Maritime field. Through professional development, mentorship, and networking opportunities, we strive to empower Marine officers to make a lasting impact in their respective fields and the nation. Together, we aim to cultivate a legacy of leadership and camaraderie that will inspire future generations of Marine officers.

Mission: 

Our mission is to promote the scientific development of the Maritime and Allied Industry and its branches while fostering an inclusive environment free from any political, religious, caste, or creed discrimination. We aim to enhance knowledge, facilitate idea interchange, and support economic growth while focusing on environmental sustainability and technical consultancy.

Our Objectives:

The main objective of the GMOA is to unite and to shift the focus from self-interest to the contribution towards the welfare of the Maritime community and society in general. The goal is to promote Goa’s Maritime interests and foster a sense of camaraderie among like-minded maritime professionals. 1. To have close association and interaction with Shipping Ministry ( National and International ), DG shipping India, Mercantile Marine Department (MMD), Mormugao Port Authority (MPA), River Navigation Department Goa, Captain Of Ports Goa and various Maritime Boards in India and all Maritime Authorities. 2. Association intends to create awareness and highlight role of sailing and non-sailing maritime officers and engineers in nation building by serving and protecting maritime assets and maritime environment.
